It’s time to put yourself on the PROVEN PATH
to better fitness, unwavering self-confidence, and an epic life.

Where: Santa Monica, CA

When: June 7-9, 2024

What: A small, tribal gathering of men who will do a variety of workouts, physical activities, learning, growing, bonding, and having an epic, unforgettable time.

When you’re going through tough shit, it can seem like you’re alone with no one around who can relate. This is especially true for ambitious, high-achieving guys who LOOK like they have everything figured out.

In my circle of friends, I was always the one who was a little different. The entrepreneur. The risk-taker. The tough guy who could handle it.

Everyone around me looked at my life and assumed I was killing it. But really, I was just dying on the inside.

I felt shackled by my bad habits, a victim of my own mind, and scared shitless that I’d never become the man I wanted to be.

Now that I’m on the other side, though, I know how wrong I was. There are THOUSANDS of high-achieving guys out there who are struggling.

And they all have similar stories.

Just look at some of these direct quotes from emails I’ve received recently:

“Struggled with depression and self-confidence…”

“I have a successful business, an amazing family, and a great education. But I’ve struggled with depression and self-confidence all my life. I’m not where I want to be yet. I’m in my own head, chastising myself for all the missed opportunities and stupid decisions I’ve made. I’m at a tipping point and I’m just not sure what to do next.”

“I’m alone way too much…”

“Over the last few years, I’ve grown more and more bitter. I don’t put myself out there like I used to. Life has just beaten me down. I’m alone way too much. But I’m ready for a change.”

“I’ve been in the same place for too long…and need to break out.”

“I’ve struggled with anxiety for as long as I’ve remembered, but it hasn’t really stopped me from achieving my goals. That said, I need to get out of my comfort zone. I’ve been in the same place for too long and want more out of my life. I need to break out of this insecurity, because I know deep down it’s holding me back.”

We want to be our best-possible version of ourselves. We want to be the kind of guy who has it all: money, time, good friends, and meaningful work. We want to be the kind of guy who doesn’t lie — to himself or to the people he loves.

And yet, without help, we keep slipping back into our old patterns and bad habits. We keep getting locked into old ways of thinking. We shackle ourselves to old belief-systems and behaviors.

We need to wake the hell up. We need to surround ourselves with guys who are going through the exact same struggle. We need to break through.

And that’s exactly what I did, which is why, after years of struggling…

Every morning, I wake up excited for what the day has in store for me.

Will I go to the gym to train with my friends?

Will I record a podcast with a celebrity or personal hero?

Will I send an email that generates thousands of dollars for my business?

Or will I just call off work for the day, grab my surfboard, and head to the beach?

My days are wide-open. In fact, my ENTIRE LIFE is wide-open. I’m ready for anything that comes my way, whether opportunity or challenge.

Me talking to the Los Angeles Dodgers at their Spring Training facility in Arizona.

Me with some of my amazing friends during a usual Sunday brunch.

Me and my amazing wife in beautiful, Catalina Island.

I know in my heart that no matter what happens in my life, I’ll be able to handle it with strength, self-confidence, and humor.

It wasn’t always like this, though…

Hit rewind. Let’s go back a decade.

Every month, a half-million readers visited my blog.

Every day, 70+ athletes came to my gym to train.

But every night—after the gym emptied out and lights went down—I made the short, sad drive to my mom’s house, where I’d eat cold leftovers, search for loose change in the couch cushions, and struggle to fall asleep in my old bedroom.

I was ashamed. A walking impostor. My entire existence felt like a giant contradiction.

To the outside world, I was Mr. Successful. I was the confident gym-owner who got guys jacked. The generous friend who’d pick up the check at dinner or take everyone to Vegas for the weekend.

But inside I was a broken shell of a man.

Because only I knew the truth:

I was bankrupt.

Bankrupt financially. Bankrupt emotionally. Bankrupt in every single aspect of my life.

I struggled with depression and anxiety. I wasted time on stupid shit and fake friends. I retreated into myself, spending most of my time alone.

Everything was spiraling downward.

  • I couldn’t focus
  • I couldn’t stand my ground
  • I couldn’t make eye contact
  • I couldn’t make good decisions
  • I couldn’t finish anything I started

I was 31 years old with a “successful” business…and living in my mom’s house with no true friends.

I’d officially hit rock-fucking-bottom.

My breakthrough was a long process, but it started when I finally gathered the courage to move from Jersey to California. The sun, the change of scenery, the laid-back vibe of the people…all of it helped me take the next step in my life and kickstarted a decade-long process of self-improvement.

Moving to a new place was the “pattern interrupt” I needed to get my head out of my ass and start being the kind of man I’d always wanted to be.

That’s when I really started to…

  • Connect with mentors, coaches, and other high-achieving guys.
  • Read hundreds of personal development books (over 300) and put what I learned into practice.
  • Make eye contact and start conversations with everyone I encountered.
  • Overcome the bad habits that had always led to destructive, depressive moods and bad habits.
  • Wake up smiling, confident, and ready for the day.

And bit by bit, one day at a time, my entire life started to change.

✓ I got in the best shape of my life at 40.

✓ I tripled my productivity.

✓ I tripled my income.

✓ I overcame my crippling insecurities and shyness.

I went from hardly being able to say hello to strangers…to speaking on stage in front of hundreds of people.

I am now known as a SUPER CONNECTOR and one of the most connected men around.

My daily depression was replaced by a powerful and unquenchable thirst for life. Excitement and passion began to rule my days.

Finally, after 30+ years of being someone I didn’t like very much, I became the man I always wanted to be. I became my own hero.

I’m not gonna lie: This 180-degree transformation wasn’t easy.  But if I can do it, anyone can.

How do I know? I’ve seen it happen live, right before my eyes at each and every one of these events we run.

For years, I’ve been helping other high-achieving guys break down their own barriers and break free from their own shackles.

Guys like Chris Yozwiak here:

And Scott Volquartsen:

And these guys:

These guys didn’t need to change every single thing about their lives. Instead, all they needed was a simple “pattern interrupt.”

Listen, you DON’T need to pick up and move your entire life to the other side of the country like I did.

But you DO need to get the hell out of your comfort zone.

You DO need to surround yourself with the right people.

You DO need to challenge yourself.

And if you’re ready to take the next step and start living the like the man you’ve always wanted to be, I’m here to help.

What is the date of this event?
June 7-9, 2024.

When does it start and finish?
It starts, Friday day morning at 8 am and finishes mid day on Sunday.

Where is it being held?
The Renegade Experience is held in Santa Monica, CA, the popular and legendary beach city.

Santa Monica ranks 5th in the world (by National Geographic) among other beach cities, such as Barcelona (Spain), Cape Town (South Africa), Honolulu (Hawaii), Nice (France), Santa Monica (California), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Sydney (Australia), and others.

What goes on during the weekend?
Different types of workouts and training, hikes, breath work, water sports, personal development, talks from Jay Ferruggia and other experts, bonding, meals shared together, and fun nights out.

Is Jay Ferruggia the only coach, or are their others?
At each event, we have renowned guest speakers and coaches, many of who are at the top of their fields- in fitness, health and personal development. Some include Dr. Mark Cheng, Dr. Belisa Vranich, world renowned self-defense expert Tony Blauer, Olympic medal winning boxer Tony Jefferies, Michael DeSanti, Luka Hocevar, Bedros Keuillian, Adam Bornstein and more.

Is there an official hotel for the event?
Yes. We recommend the Air Venice Hotel in Venice Beach. Most of the activities and meals will take place nearby.

You will receive more details and specifics after you book your spot and as the event gets closer.

Do I need a rental car?
It’s not necessary. We’ll walk or Uber to most stuff. And you can always rent a scooter or bike with a simple iPhone app. But certainly feel free to get one if you want.

How many people attend?
In order to keep The Renegade Experience intimate, we limit the number of spots to just 16 guys.

This allows us to help you get the most out of it. And it gives you the opportunity to develop lifelong bonds with the other men in the group. For those reasons, we only have 16 spots available. Every previous event has sold out. So, be sure to reserve your spot now.

Is this for men only?
Yes. Small tribal gatherings of men are what is missing in our modern society. This is essential for your development, sense of purpose, and overall fulfillment and happiness.

What do I need to bring?
— Clothes for training and going out (but nothing fancy).

— At least one change of clothes for each day.

— Some mini/light bands would be a good idea, but don’t worry if you don’t have them.

— Any wraps or sleeves you need to train safely.

And since we have such a packed schedule each day, it would be a good idea to bring some snacks. If you forget there are plenty of healthy places in the area to pick some up. I will also provide you with some.

How should I prepare for this experience?
All you have to do is come with an open mind. Simply be willing to do whatever it takes to become better. And look forward to begin living the life you want.

Do I need to be in great shape?
No. All levels of fitness, from beginner to advanced are welcome. While we will be doing physical workouts, the weekend is also about so much more than that. Everyone is here to support each other and help lift each other up. Your current fitness level should not be a concern. And please don’t let that be a reason for you not attending. You will regret it.

What is the investment in myself to attend?
My personal coaching clients pay $40,000 per year to work with me one-on-one. However, since this is a small group event and you’re signing up during special early bird pricing, the investment you’ll make in yourself is just $1997.

Is this event completely confidential?
Yes, it is 100% confidential. What is said amongst brothers over the course of the weekend will remain private. Yet, we will all benefit from being very and forthcoming as we reveal our struggles and common strengths and weaknesses.

Most high-achieving guys reading this page already know they need to make a change.

They’ll read every word here, watch every video, nod their head in agreement, and feel the urge to do something about it.

And then they’ll back off, talk themselves out of it, and do NOTHING.

Guys, that’s not the way change happens. That’s not the way to move forward in your life. That’s not the way to be a man.

That said, I’ll be the first to say that The Renegade Experience isn’t for everyone.

If you read this page and can’t relate to anything I said, then no hard feelings, but The Renegade Experience is probably NOT a good fit for you.

If you read this entire page, connected with my story, and even for a second had a thought like…

“I need something like this.”

“I want to work with Jay.”

“I want to see what this is all about.”

“I need some help.”

…then I encourage you to take the next step and reserve your spot.

Maybe you’re in a tough position like I was back in the day, and you don’t know how to get out.

Maybe your business is successful but the rest of your life is in shambles.

Maybe you’re spending more time alone, becoming more closed-off, and are scared of putting yourself out there.

Maybe you need some more positive guys in your life—a tribe—who you can connect with on a deep level.

If that’s the case, The Renegade Experience is for you.

But right now, it’s time to decide.

Are you gonna keep doing the same old shit? Or are you going to join me and take control of your life?

I’m ready to help. I have a spot with your name on it.

But the next step is up to you.
