That article, is exactly why editorials should be taken with a grain of salt. The author has only used research from a source that illunimates her own point. You should give her a call Jay, offer to train her for an 8 week stint and see if she'll print a retraction.

What a pile of hogwash.

Love the poster Jay. Would you say it's best to do the Advanced MGS once your gains start slowing down with the low rep training?

hey jay!
I just have a quick question, it'll take you less than a minute to answer!
Well i've been doing your super beginner program in MGS and recently i've been noticing some pain on the inside of my right knee. The pain is only at full quad extension like when i'm standing and it happens only sometimes, and is annoying when i walk! should i keep squatting and deadlifting?
thanks =]

In no way do I know how to measure muscle or am interested in calculating it, but my physical appearance since starting with Jay at Renegade has significantly improved. From people I haven't seen in a few months to the friends that I see every day they notice the difference in my build. Now take note that I'm coming off a knee injury where for about 6 to 7 weeks I was easing back into doing cleans, squats, and deadlifts. Not until this July did I start going harder with those lifts and my size quickly jumped. So that's about only 6 weeks of going hard in the gym with the heavier lower body lifts that my size has increased already. I regret not coming to Jay and utilizing the workouts from Muscle Gaining Secrets during high school. With Renegade Cardio I've leaned down and improved my stamina. I've gained size, lost that baby fat I used to carry and I'm in the best shape of my life. Trust me, stop wasting your time with other workouts - you'll think you're doing the right things in the gym, but you have no idea how much better you can look and feel unless you listen to Jay.
